Yes, you will need a current referral from your GP, if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate for your visit.

That’s fine to make an appointment, however, please note that a specialist referral is only valid for 3 months and a GP referral is valid for 12 months.

Yes, you can still make an appointment as long as your referral is current.

No, we are a private billing practice.

We accept payment using EFTPOS.

No, there is no cash kept on the premises.

No, your health fund only covers most hospital surgery costs. Medicare offers you a rebate on most fees.

If your bank details are linked to Medicare, our reception staff can submit your claim for you after your appointment.

Please call our reception as soon as possible to either cancel or reschedule your appointment.

We have a long waiting list, which will allow other patients to be seen in your place.

Yes, we have wheelchair and pram access. Enter through the side of the surgery.

No, we don’t.  We offer a private antenatal share cared experience working with the hospital. We can look after you during your pregnancy, but the midwives and the hospital doctors at Campbelltown hospital will look after the delivery of your baby.

During your first appointment, all fees will be explained and handed to you to sign and keep for your reference.

Unfortunately we do not offer private obstetric care. You will need to see someone who does private deliveries.

Yes, we can make you a Telehealth appointment. Please speak with our reception to see if this type of appointment suits you.

Nureva doctors operate privately at Campbelltown Private Hospital and Macquarie Private Hospital.

You have the choice of self-funding your surgery to be performed privately by the Nureva surgeon of your choice, or alternatively, you will be placed on a public hospital waitlist at Campbelltown Public Hospital.
